Credit card sign-up offers, November 2026: the ones you can get on normal spending
Most sign-up offers need you to spend a set amount within 1–3 months. If that’s more than you’d spend anyway, the “free” gift isn’t free. So here they are, sorted by spend.
Cash or gifts, low spend
| Card | You get | Spend | Annual fee | Apply by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HSBC credit cards (e.g. Live+, Advance) | $200 cash or Samsonite luggage (worth $680) | $500 | Varies by card | 31 Dec 2026 |
| CIMB World Mastercard | Samsonite luggage (worth $1,150) | $2,000 in 60 days | Check card | 30 Nov 2026 |
For most people, $200 cash on $500 of spend is the easiest win this month.
Miles, without paying an annual fee
| Card | You get | Spend | Annual fee | Apply by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OCBC Rewards | 22,000 miles | $800 in 60 days | First 2 years free | 31 Dec 2026 |
| HSBC Revolution | 16,800 miles | $1,000 | None | 31 Dec 2026 |
| Citi Rewards | 16,000 miles | $800 in 2–3 months | First year free | 31 Mar 2027 |
| AMEX KrisFlyer Credit Card | 16,000 miles | $2,000 in 90 days | First year free | 31 Jan 2027 |
Miles are worth roughly 1.5–2 cents each when used for flights, so 16,000 miles is about $250–$320. The OCBC offer only counts if you apply on OCBC’s own website, not through comparison sites.
Ending 31 October
If you were going to apply anyway, these close this week:
- DBS yuu, POSB Everyday: $288 cash or Samsonite luggage, on $800 in 60 days (needs a PayLah! account).
- DBS Altitude: up to 38,000 miles on $800 in 60 days.
- OCBC INFINITY Cashback: $200 cash on $400 in 30 days.
Big bonuses, big spend
UOB Visa Infinite Metal (60,000 miles for $4,000 in 30 days, $654 fee) and StanChart Beyond (100,000 miles for $20,000 in 90 days, $1,635 fee) only make sense if you already have a large expense coming, such as renovation or insurance premiums that the card allows.
Rules that trip people up
- “New” means new to that bank. Usually you can’t hold any of the bank’s cards now or have cancelled one in the last 12 months (some banks use 24).
- The clock starts at approval, not when the card arrives.
- Not all spend counts. Bill payments, insurance, e-wallet top-ups and tax payments are often excluded.
- Read the fee rule. Some miles offers need you to pay the annual fee; asking for a waiver can cancel the bonus.
- Where you apply matters. The bank’s site, SingSaver and MoneySmart run different offers, and you can’t combine them.
- Keep the card for a year. The gift arrives 2–4 months later, and cancelling early can mean it’s taken back.
Offers change often. Check the bank’s terms before you apply.
