- Published 2 Nov 2026CPF from 1 Jan 2027: older workers save more, take home a bit lessFrom 1 Jan 2027, CPF rates go up for workers above 55 to 65. On a $5,000 salary, take-home pay drops by $25 to $50 a month and $50 to $75 more goes into CPF.
- Published 2 Nov 2026GEP ends in its current form from 2027: what replaces itMOE is replacing the Gifted Education Programme from 2027. The last GEP intake is Primary 4 in 2026. Instead, more pupils get school-based provisions, and some attend weekly advanced modules at 15 designated schools.
- Published 2 Nov 2026P1 registration from 2027: 60 places in Phase 2C, and a two-track ballot at 12 schoolsFrom the 2027 Primary 1 registration exercise, Phase 2C reserves 60 places instead of 40 at most schools, and 12 schools split Phase 2C places between children living within and beyond 2 km.
