BCRS return machines at Changi Airport: all 6 locations (T1–T4 and Jewel)
Bought a drink after immigration? Your 10-cent deposit flies home with you.
Since April 2026, bottled and canned drinks in Singapore carry a 10-cent deposit under BCRS, refunded when you feed the empty container into a Return Right machine. Changi Airport has six of them. All six are on the “Singapore” side of immigration.
Where the machines are
According to Return Right’s official live map (checked on 1 November 2026), the airport’s return machines are all in public areas before immigration. None is listed in the transit area after immigration.
| Place | Location on the official map |
|---|---|
| Terminal 1 | Level 1, Arrival Hall (east side) |
| Terminal 2 | Level 2, Departure Hall (north), Skytrain platform |
| Terminal 3, FairPrice | Basement 2, supermarket side entrance near the food court |
| Terminal 4 | Level 2M, outside Kopitiam |
| Jewel, FairPrice | #B2-205/206 |
| Jewel, Don Don Donki | #B1-224, next to the in-store dining entrance |
What this means for your can of kopi
- Drinks you finish before immigration: return them at any of the machines above, then fly.
- Drinks you buy and finish after immigration: if the container carries the deposit mark, there is no machine on that side to give the 10 cents back. Your options are to bin it and let the 10 cents go, or keep the empty, uncrushed container and return it when you are back.
- Coming home: the Terminal 1 machine sits in the Arrival Hall, conveniently placed for that bottle’s homecoming.
Ten cents won’t change your holiday budget. But somewhere over the Bay of Bengal, an empty can is still worth 10 cents, and a truly kiasu traveller knows exactly where it gets redeemed.
Quick reminders
- Containers must be empty, uncrushed, and have a readable barcode.
- Refunds go to SimplyGo EZ-Link or DBS PayLah!.
- Machine locations can change; check returnright.sg before you go.
