Questions
When do I pay tax on my 2026 income?
You file in March–April 2027 and get your tax bill from around May. You can pay in one go or by GIRO in monthly instalments.
Am I a tax resident?
Foreigners are usually tax residents if they stay or work in Singapore for 183 days or more in the year. Citizens and PRs are residents.
Why is my tax lower than the rate table suggests?
Reliefs lower your chargeable income first. For locals, CPF contributions alone take up to $20,400 off.
