What is DCC?
Dynamic currency conversion: the shop or ATM converts your bill into SGD at its own rate. That rate usually includes a markup larger than your card’s fee.
Do overseas websites count too?
Yes. Paying a foreign website in its currency incurs the same fee, even if you are in Singapore.
